Pastor Dave has been married to Renee, his wife, for 34 years. He and Renee have four children and five grandchildren.
A Soldier
Pastor Dave is a retired soldier who served in a wide variety of positions during his thirty plus years, as an enlisted soldier, NCO, warrant officer, and commissioned officer.
A Combat Veteran
Pastor Dave's most recent duty assignments were with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and with US Army Garrison at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. He deployed with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) during OPERATIONS: Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He received the Bronze Star for his service in Iraq. He is a rated Senior Army Aviator with over 2,300 hours of flight time. He proudly wears the Air Assault Badge.
A Scholar
Pastor Dave graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Professional Aeronautics degree in 1986. In 1988 he completed his Master of Divinity degree and graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2007 he earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
